The Social Media Marketing intern will be responsible for the implementation of our social media strategy, to develop brand awareness and drive growth, through key initiatives and campaigns.

You will be responsible for all of Aab’s social media channels, scheduling calendar, and the planning and execution of content.  Working closely with the Creative Director you will develop strong creative ideas and concepts in line with your own ideas and the goals of the business.

The role is ideal for someone looking to kick start a career in Digital Marketing/Fashion and really make their mark within a fast-paced, young, growing and (most importantly) ethical company.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

Manage all social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities in line with the overall marketing strategy and goals.

Develop a social media strategy to incorporate promotion, engagement and conversion.

Develop fresh and innovative creative approaches to curating social media content, utilising existing and new tools whilst bearing in mind the Aab customer and tone of voice.

Build relationships with key social influencers and bloggers to enrich output and increase reach.

To remain abreast of industry trends, digital developments and feed in new thinking.

Ensure campaigns are delivered within budgets and within agreed timeframes.

Analyse, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results.

Assess growth, reach, engagement, lead generation and sales conversion through social media; all of which will form the basis of your KPI’s.


The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will not only be passionate about Social Media but is also able to demonstrate their prowess using Social Media. Specific skills and experience include:

In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube etc.)

Knowledge and ability to use social media scheduling and analytical tools.

Good technical understanding and ability to pick up new tools quickly.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Demonstrates creativity and immersion in Social Media.

Knowledgeable in the principles of SEO and social.

Excellent project/time management and organisational skills, able to cope in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrates great social customer service techniques, ability to deal with social crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles.

Personally flexible and consultative - able to interact and build strong and credible relationships at all levels.

Degree educated or experience in a marketing or related field.

Strong desire to 'make a difference' and add value in the role.

The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in e-commerce and customer service as well as a passion for online marketing and sales. You will take ownership of Aab’s e-commerce platform and manage all aspects of our online sales and presence. The E-commerce Executive will be responsible for all aspects of Aab’s website, reporting to the Commercial Director and liaising with the customer service, logistics and marketing functions.

The Role

Partner with Commercial & Creative Director, design agency and development agency to manage all aspects of the Ecommerce business including strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other digital marketing

Responsible for all aspects of online merchandising

Manage web agency and their development timelines

Analyse campaign performance and develop strategies for growth

Manage all aspects of web analytics related to Ecommerce and communicate relevant 

information to management

Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation and content development 

Identify new areas of Ecommerce opportunity beyond current organisational thinking

Ownership of email database and newsletter campaigns as well as developing segmentation strategies
